Hi, I’m Karen!

Thanks so much for popping by! I live and work from our small stone cottage nestled deep in the beautiful countryside of County Kerry. As I step outside the cottage door I find magic and inspiration all around, and the garden birds and visiting wildlife often weave their way into my work. My studio is my happy place where I’m surrounded by boxes overflowing with colourful fabric scraps and threads. I spend my days sewing, listening to audiobooks and drinking lots of tea, and there’s always a cat or two and Lucy the dog to keep me company as I stitch.

I love to use recycled textiles in my work, giving new life to materials that have been discarded or forgotten - turning them into something new and beautiful that will be treasured.
